QTBIPOC Pride Camping Trip

Queering the Path will be hosting a car camping trip for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) who are Queer &/or Trans on June 7th 2024- June 9th 2024.

Meals & Transportation are included in registration. Participation is limited to 9 Participants along with 2 QTP Guides & 1 volunteer for the weekend.

Transportation: Queering The Path will be organizing the carpool to the campsite. You will receive carpool information after registering for the event.

Meals: 2 Breakfasts, 2 Dinners and 1 Lunch will be provided based on the group’s dietary needs,  and restrictions. Information will also be collected after registration.

Got Gear?: You are welcome to bring your own 1P-2P tent (sizes are limited to 1P-2P if you are bringing your own.) Group tents can be borrowed through our QTP gear library at no additional cost for the trip. Sleeping bags, sleeping pads, headlamp and other necessary gear may also be rented through the gear library.

Meal times will be provided closer to the trip. You are also encouraged to bring any other snacks or dietary items you may need for the trip.

Group/ Participant expectation: All participants including guides & volunteers are required to adhere to the QTP community agreements.

At camp everyone will be split into groups to perform dish washing, fire building, clean up and other camping needs. This trip is a communal effort where all knowledge and help is welcomed. You DO NOT have to be an expert to attend! This is very much a community trip where skills can be built, taught and practiced.

Cost Sliding Scale: $80-$120 for the entire weekend. This cost includes gear borrowed, food, camp site, and transportation for the weekend. Sliding scale is an effort on QTP’s part to do our best to provide accessibility for our events & trips. Sponsorships & waitlist:

At this time we are only able to provide 1 sponsorship for this trip. Waitlist will be enacted and be based on first come first served in the event spots run out.

Cancellations & Refunds: There is a limit of 72 hours before cancellation. You must inform organizers through our website or email at Queerthepath.com if you are unable to attend to receive a refund. No exceptions. We thank you for your understanding.
